CONTEXT CHECKEDBefore sending, deck rechecks the exact tmux server, session, window, pane, process generation, and—when known—the foreground executable.
QUIET IS NOT READYA quiet session may be waiting for input, running a silent task, or doing nothing. deck does not read terminal content to decide.
APP MUST BE RUNNINGThe queue survives restarts, but deck must be open for a scheduled prompt to fire. The underlying tmux sessions survive independently.

Questions
What deck does—and doesn’t do.
Does deck upload my code, prompts, or terminal output?
No. deck has no account or cloud workspace, and terminal content stays on your Mac. The website also ships without analytics or third-party scripts in this first version.
How do sessions survive when deck quits?
deck runs a private tmux server. Closing the app detaches its terminal view; it does not stop the tmux session. Closing a card or exiting its shell ends that session.
Does amber mean an agent needs my input?
No. Amber means the session has been quiet for at least 15 seconds. It is a cue to inspect, not a claim that deck understands the agent’s state.
Which CLI tools are supported?
Any interactive CLI that runs in a macOS terminal, including Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, build tools, shells, and your own scripts.
Why not the Mac App Store?
deck uses direct Developer ID distribution so its terminal and tmux integration can work without an App Store sandbox redesign. Releases are signed, notarized, and update in-app.
Which Macs are supported?
The current build supports Apple Silicon Macs. Intel Macs are not supported today.
